THE SOURCE OF THE SIMME

Siebe Brünne

Siebe Brünne – seven springs – is the source of the River Simme and gives the valley its name. Here the water gushes out of a mighty limestone wall in seven places to form a majestic waterfall. Sibe Brünne is a designated ‘Kraftort’ – a place with special energy – and a wonderful place to linger.

The Sibe Brünne waterfall is at the very end of the valley, five kilometres beyond the village of Lenk.
