Top4 ski resort in the Bernese Oberland
The six ski resorts of Elsigen-Metsch, Tschentenalp, Engstligenalp, Silleren-Chuenisbärgli, with the main resorts of Adelboden-Lenk and Betelberg have united for more than 25 years to form the Adelboden-Lenk ski region.
Across mountains, valleys and municipal boundaries, the Adelboden-Lenk ski region holds all the aces for its diversity, with more than 200 kilometres of pistes, 70 lifts and cable cars, international award-winning runs and fun winter activities from November to May. As the venue for the Audi FIS Ski World Cup, the ski region is one of the top four in the Bernese Oberland.
One ski region, six resorts
The Adelboden-Lenk ski region covers a total of six resorts. They all have a completely different character and diverse offering; each is completely distinctive. The one thing that unites them all is a superb range of services to meet the needs of every guest, with excitement and adventure across a total of 32 fun facilities, state-of-the-art lifts, wide pistes, winter days that end with the last rays of the sun, untouched nature and a wealth of culinary highlights.

Piste diversity, fun and action
The Adelboden-Lenk ski region’s biggest resort extends from Sillerenbühl, across the Hahnenmoos Pass and Metsch. There’s something for everyone here! With a massive choice of runs, funparks, funslopes, adventure slopes, not to mention restaurants, mountain huts and bars: we cover all bases.
Unspoilt nature and guaranteed snow
For six months, the best season of the year – winter – dominates Switzerland’s biggest plateau, 2,000 metres above sea level. You can ski or snowboard on broad pistes, cross-country ski or winter hike across the extensive plateau at the foot of Wildstrubel mountain, explore Globi’s children’s playground, or catch up on the day’s news over a tasty fondue. Time seems to stand still, away from the hurly-burly, in Europe’s biggest igloo.
Lenk’s culture mountain
Beginners particularly enjoy the gentle incline from Leiterli to Stoss while the seven-kilometre Tschuggenpiste is a gem for sporty skiers. Lenk’s local mountain has a unique charm and scores top marks for its traditional cuisine and hospitality: locals, families and visitors all fall under its spell.
The amusement park for the whole family
A family-friendly, sunny winter paradise stretches between Elsighorn and First. Skiers, sledders and keen hikers will find everything their hearts desire in the resort of Elsigen-Metsch. Cosy mountain huts and terraces invite you to feast and sunbathe.
For ambitious and experienced skiers
How about carving through the snow where the world’s best skiers compete to gain hundredths of a second? The World Cup mountain – a well-kept secret on busy days – is perfect for action-loving, ambitious skiers. The more adventurous will also feel at home in the Audi Skicross Park Aebi or the Swisscom Skimovie Tanzboden funpark at Silleren. And there are still many ski huts that entice you to take a break.
Adelboden’s home mountain
You can be on the piste in six minutes from the centre of Adelboden village. Crack skiers, families and novices all love Tschentenalp. The Tschentenalp Restaurant’s sunny terrace is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious lunch. Alongside the high-quality cuisine, guests can also enjoy an unforgettable panorama. The TschentomDrom right next to the mountain station is the place to meet for convivial après-ski.
