High-lying with good views and yet well developed – this refreshing trail quickly takes you to the most fascinating corners of Sunnbüel.
It starts with keen eyesight. High above Kandersteg, trail runners on this route are soon rewarded with a brilliant view across the ancient Gastern valley. The wide plateau of Spittelmatte is also an eye-catcher, but the real highlight of the trail on Sunnbüel are the Arven Lakes hidden deep in the mountain forest. Once you leave the turquoise gems behind, you will find yet another impressive vantage point beneath Üschenengrat.
