Frutigen looks so picturesque from above, so if you're looking for this view, simply follow the Leimbach tributary on this short trail.
Many streams flow down from the Niesen mountain chain into the valley. This Frutigen trail, however, goes upstream in the direction of Steinschlaghore. But you don't have to go all the way to the source to reach the magnificent mountain forest and an imposing vantage point high above the village. The descent is no less spectacular and at Bäuert Winklen, the way back is lined with magnificent chalets.
