Frutigen's great walking attraction!
A panoramic trail takes you from the western side of Elsighorn along a cultivated natural trail down to Frutigen.
Elsigenalp Frutigen can be comfortably reached by cable-car. This 2000m high floral paradise is home to many varieties of wildlife and offers many diverse and well-marked footpaths.
The Panorama Trail to Frutigen begins below Elsighorn, from which walkers are afforded a spectacular view across the rift-landscape opening onto the Frutig-Spissen. Further down at Trute with its picnic site and fireplace, where you have the best viewpoint across the Fruitig and Kander valleys. Refreshed, the final walk to Frutigen can be easily negotiated.
