Das hintere Kiental ist einfach zu wildromantisch, um eine Winterwanderung schon bei Sonnenuntergang zu beenden. Wenn es dämmert, werden hier einfach die altbewährten Petroleumlampen im Freien angezündet. Es ist die Zeit des Laternenwegs. Spaziergänger können die Ebene beim Tschingelsee und die verschneiten Wälder unter dem Blüemlisalpmassiv in zauberhaftem Ambiente erkunden.
From 16 December 2021 to 12 March 2022, the path will be lit from Thursday to Saturday from 5.30 pm to 9 pm. The trail starts at the car park near the Hotel-Restaurant Alpenruh. The circular walk takes about 45 minutes and is no problem for older people with good shoes.The route is also available to groups on request on other days of operation. Those who take the lantern trail need not worry about the frosty temperatures: at the latest, a spicy mulled wine or a creamy fondue in the "Alpenruh" restaurant will ensure cosy warmth at the end.
