Comprising several loops, this Nordic circular trail leads across a campsite and past the Lötschberg tunnel's north portal at its half-way point. Gentle climbs and enjoyable descents give this trail its special charm.

This interesting and varied route – with its Nordic charm, considerate climbs and pleasurable descents – starts next to the Hotel des Alpes. The starting point can be reached by public transport from the train station, or in a ten-minute walk. Connecting directly to the ski trail, you will firstly ski towards Filfalle. In its latter part, this red trail will make several loops across the scouting estate which is always a hive of camping activity in the summer. The area is dominated by the portal of the Lötschberg tunnel which is directly visible from the trail. More than 100 years ago, the hard-working miners who created this masterpiece of tunnel construction here also stayed and lived in the area. Several protective walls, well camouflaged within the forest, still attest to this period of intense construction. The trail then leads back over open meadows and fields. At the Waldhotel Doldenhorn, the trail reconnects with the central network of trails and leads back to the starting point.
