A roaring mountain stream, a gentle ascent and a fantastic view of the valley characterise this trail – but the Engstlige Falls are certainly one of the highlights.
First the riverbank path, then the panoramic view. Beginning in Adelboden Oey, the route takes you beside the Engstlige river and then climbs up to the left after Mülli-Brücke towards Hohliebe – what a view! Next, the trail crosses the Lengweid forest to the idyllic Alp Laueli, where fountain water splashes invitingly next to the hut. Time to move on now, as the narrow path winds its way back down to Unter dem Birg. Here, you can choose between the river route back to Oey or add the circular waterfall trail to your itinerary.
