Intriguing bike tour into the neighbouring valley with amazing insights into a different culture.
First, load the bike onto the train and ride through the 14-km long Lötschberg tunnel into the Valais as far as Goppenstein. You ride through the entire valley on the narrow, not busy valley road and partly on field routes, and pass amazing small Valais villages. The bike route ends at Fafleralp. From here, enjoy the stunning view of the glacier landscape and then return on the same route to Kandersteg.
